Switching Station

A switching station is installed at the key point of an electric power system where the electricity pass or stop going to a power line for prevention of accidents. On and off switches such as breakers are installed within the enclosure and is called the sub-station when a transformer is also installed.
The switching station of the Omarugawa  Plant relays the flow of electricity between an underground power plant and the Miyazaki Sub-station. Apparatus are made compact by adopting GIS (gas insulated switchgear) to turn on and off equipment that attains size reduction of a site.
